I Opened One Of These Savings Accounts And Got Told That The Money Must Come From A Loyds Tsb Current Account To The Monthly Saver Is This Right?0
-
Nope, when you set up the standing order, when opening the Regular Saver, it will be from your Lloyds' Current Account but you can cancel it and set a new standing order up from a different bank account. The initial deposit also has to come from the Llloyds Current Account.kanchhelskis wrote:I Opened One Of These Savings Accounts And Got Told That The Money Must Come From A Loyds Tsb Current Account To The Monthly Saver Is This Right?0 -
I Paid The First Five Hundred Pounds In By Cash So After The First Months Standing Order,i Can Then Get It Set Up From My Proper Current Account Right?0

You can cancel before the first payment if you so wish. Just make sure you do it so the money gets to your Regular Saver before the end of the month.kanchhelskis wrote:I Paid The First Five Hundred Pounds In By Cash So After The First Months Standing Order,i Can Then Get It Set Up From My Proper Current Account Right?0 -

I take it that this month's payment has already gone into your account? You should set up the new standing order so that the money reaches your account at the beginning of the month starting from December.kanchhelskis wrote:Thanks Ive Got It Comin Out On The 17th Of Next Month So I Cancel It And Get It Set Up From My Proper Current Account Then Is This Right, Sorry If I Seem A Bit Dim.0 -
Just a quick question on the Ipswich building society one:
Is it possible to pay the cheque deposit on say the 20th, and then set the standing order to go on the 1st from the next month?0 -
