Unable to connect to www.moneysavingexpert.com

I've started to experience problems connecting to https://www.moneysavingexpert.com from my home laptop - all other websites appear OK.
I'm currently connected with Freedom 2 Surf (I know) and I am on the ASDL Max 8MB connection, but find that I only get a brief connection once a week - the rest is the Page Cannot be Displayed error.
I thought that I would do a ping to https://www.moneysavingexpert (213.129.77.16) - Request Timed Out.
Tried a tracert but this failed at the last hop (62.6.237.174) - so close, but so far.
I even tried a tracert at home from another website (http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/tracert.ch?ip=www.moneysavingexpert.com) which hopped along merrily and reached MSE.
When I get into work the next day, there is no problem with connecting from my work PC.
Last night I disabled the ADSL, and tried one of these 0845 Dial up Pay as You Go numbers which hopped along to https://www.moneysavingexpert.com. No problem on Dialup. Disconnected Dialup, reconnected ADSL, unable to make the connection to MSE.
I logged an incident with Freedom 2 Surf last week to help me out, but havent had a response yet - am I right in thinking that it is an ISP issue ?

Sounds like it to me.
I'd guess it's a DNS problem with freedom 2 surf. I'd try changing to another dns. I had similar problems with Plusnet a few months back. At first they denied it, then admitted it, then it was down to one of the companies they use to link onto the big pipes. (Or something like that)
Anyway I got around it by using a different DNS server to test.
Depending on how you connect (i.e. usb modem or router) it's relatively easy to change, and easy to change back.
You could try these ones...
Primary DNS 212.159.6.10
Secondary DNS 212.159.6.9
I can't see it being much else to be honest.0 -
Yes, it looks like a DNS issue between your ISP and BT. The fact that you can connect using a dial-up ISP and the DNSStuff page (which uses their own ISP) proves that it's nothing to do with your computer.
I'm also with f2s and don't have a problem connecting to MSE. Here's my tracert for comparison:
>tracert https://www.moneysavingexpert.com

Trace complete.
There were similar problems a few weeks ago affecting f2s customers, that time with forums.moneysavingexpert.com - see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=176486. You may want to post on the unofficial f2s forum - http://www.freedom2support.net/forums/.0 -
Only thing it could be is some sort of spyware/virus which changes dns settings! Sometimes those smillie toolbar things do that.0

Thanks for all your help.
I amended the DNS Server on the Router Settings and MSE is back :j0
