Hey if I was nearer I'd be round like a shot to give you a handAs my dad always used to say 'Just because you've got the money doesn't mean to say you have to spend it all at once'0 -
Todays been another very good day. Carried on going through the spare room and got rid of the following:
Horrible Old duvet & cushion
Umpteen small boxes/shoeboxes
Bag of hangers
Mouldy roller blinds
4x bound volumes of fishermans guide or something like that which OH acquired and never looks at (shhh....)
All these went to the tip.
A few more bits and bobs put in the car boot box - really need to do that asap, so that anything that doesnt sell can be got rid of, fed up of it hanging around.
Also pending out - four ebay parcels
I did go to a jumble sale and charity shop today but only came home with good quality clothes that I will actually wear - promise!November 2018 make £10/day - £21/£300
November 2018 NSDs 1/15
Emergency Fund /£1000
Weight Lost lb/100lb0 -
I'm feeling a little lazy and I'm supposed to be decorating! I have finished the sanding today, washed the paint work down and filled the little cracks but I fear that painting the ceiling will have to wait till tomorrow.
Whilst I was putting off starting the decorating I put a load of firewood in the carboot for OH to take to our friends. So under the carport is improving. Also got the go ahead from OH to bin a very worn pair of trousers - even he had noticed they had become see through!
Little steps. Keep going everyone.
Thanks

Hi All - Glad to see we are all getting on well with the decluttering although I am begining to get a bit predatory now - examining each object in the house to see if it is earning its living! I have been out for a run this morning and then helping BF(I hope) with a bit of a heart to heart and then getting the same help from my dd (over the waves). Sighs. So I am continuing with all my personal challenges and at the same time setting 1st March as the start date for a Spring Offensive - renewed enthusiasm for some things, moving to the next phase with others and starting some new ones ...
but in the meantime here are my ins and outs for today:
In: Groceries for the week (yesterday)
Usual 4 eggs (thanks girls)
Pair of funky shoes present from dd over the sea - vegan shoes!!
Out: 31. Old paperwork from a cttee I am on - recycle
32. Small teddy (to CS bag)
33. 2 buckets of weeds - to the hens for recycling into eggs
34. General rubbish - where does it all come from - so much packaging!
Not much I know but 34 things in 3 days of the 100 in 10 days so OK !
Have a nice weekend.

I'm glad you are all getting along with your de-cluttering, I too was doing well.
Unfortunately DS1's gf had to move out of her flat and cannot move into the next one for a couple of weeks. Guess what? Yes, I have the entire contents of her flat in my house along with 2 cats!
Just when I thought I was getting somewhere!!0 -
Haven't posted here for a while - been a bit busy!
Decluttering is going on, albeit slowly. I am slowly making headway in the spare room - I have half a binbag of DD's drawings to shred (I have also kept at least half a binbag full to stick into scrapbooks - just can't bear to throw them!).
Out:
TV stand and kettle to the dump.
Bags of 'junk' for modelling at school
Herbal teas gone to sister - she drinks them more than me!
Bags to charity shop
Ebay parcels
In:
Cloth nappies to trial for sister (she's a real nappy advisor)
New TV stand (DS 'crash tested' the one that went to the dump)
New kettle
Scrapbooks for DDs drawings
The best thing is that the hallway is clear...and expected to remain so. The family have been told in no uncertain terms that nothing should be stored there any more!
