Ahhhhhhh, there all is better with the world :T One more day  Hope everyone has fun at the sales, where I work is heaving and the police have had to come out and grant some peace to the roads again! What a waste of resources

Now I must get some cleaning done at home and I might try and catch up on some christmas tv
Have a great evening all :cool:0 -

Hey everyone hows it going? Think il be on here and these sort of threads alot more! What a light bulb moment iv had, about time too! £1500+ of debt, just £700 of savings and a sightly bashed up van as i go into 2010, when i come out i want NO debt, £5k(at very least, this is so achivable but im going to be realistic and go for £5k) savings and hopefully a decent(03 plate astra vans going for £1500+£500 insurance, not the most unrealistic to get)
So hopefully a year from today i can take this thread to the top and show everyone iv reached all my goals and im my old happy debt free self
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

DD's hit the sales - they didn't spend much, funny how much less they're willing to spend when it's out of their christmas money

DH and I have been going through the budget with a fine tooth comb, once we know what he'll be getting via ESA then we'll be able to do the final tally but it's looking like we should get away without going onto a dmp...fingers crossed.
I've reogranised the freezer - packed up all the cold meats that were left and I've got enough food for 31 main meals - a selection of party picky bits for new years eve and enough pasta/sauces to take it up to 42 meals :T.
Have just whizzed up all the leftover veggies in the fridge and made 14 burger sized bubble and squeak style cakey things which are cooking as we speak....some for tonight - some for the freezer....shall be served with oddments of salami, salad, cheese and bread.
I've made a complete list of everyone I need to buy for next year and set a limit, going to aim for a money neutral year in that respect and hope to cover most of it with vouchers/ebay/quidco.
I feel quite organised.....
Ohhh and I did the ironing.
