Hi there guys. I hope you don't mind me posting here as I don't normally pop onto the chat threads so much these days but I wanted to let you know that we currently have the annual thread running which is totting up the amount of debt we have all paid off in 2009.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2168125

It would be really great if you guys could add your totals if you haven't already - really want to try and break the previous year's records!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

    Mola x

My debts over this year would probably throw the whole thing into defecit! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This is my only day off until Hogmanay and Jan 1st. I work in retail and do not get a Christmas break. Thank you for the suggestions.

Even more reason not to let it get you down today then!

There's always the cccs online debt advisor. Don't think it'll be able to change the benefits system for you though.

I'm back from M&S, still in shock, it was heaving! I went to the Pudsey one thinking it'd be quieter, wrong. Then went to the much quieter Morrisons for their deals. Anyway, I now have food for the next week and for when I get back.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

What do you mean? The government benefits system? What would CCCS have to do with that? I thought they were a private company.
