Well trust is always a difficult one. But depends what you're in a relationship for.

Trust is something I struggle with (thanks Shrek) but I am determined that one bad experience is not going to make me cynical and distrustful.

I would rather have my heart broken 50 times over than stop taking risks and shut myself off to the possibility of caring about someone.

Yup. That's basically my attitude too. Sometimes it's not the lessons you learn, but the lessons you don't, that make relationships better.

The 80's BBC tv series is still the best IMHO. Though walking plants are not ever going to be scoring highly on the realism scale.

That is what I admire about you and Maz, I am the total opposite of that. Shut myself off totally.

Ames, I think I will do the same for the coming year, think about getting into a relationship I mean(forgot to quote)

Sent him a very non committal Christmas Card, at least now the last thing Isaid to him wasn't horrible. I doubt he will get in touch or anything but I feel better.

  • I would love to be loved and cuddled again. But I was maybe never loved so don't think I could start again. My husband told me after 22 years of marriage that he thought he had loved me once! Great!
