  • Thank you everyone...its a wee boy so that is two girls and two boys. Works out well for the bedrooms, if it was a girl we were going to convert the attic to a bedroom. Now there is no need so money saving all round :j.
I really need to try and post on this diary more often to keep up my motivation. I am due back to work in January and would love to have made good progress on the mortgage as I am hoping to go back to work about 20 hours a week so my pay will be almost half :eek:

Congratulations on your new arrival. Yay to student loan payments stopping aswell, at least that may offset some of the drop in income.

Crikey - you've even got hubby's 'bits' cooperating in the money saving now :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Two months since my last update and the balance is £128164, so next month we will be in the 127's :D:D.
Its going really slow at the minute as it is taking 3 payments to get to the next thousand. Am waiting on about £600 back from the student loan company in overpayments but will be using that for a city break that I booked for me and OH to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary :j
