Hi - we've been to Costa Teguise several times - its got a nice beach, small town with a few bars in ummmmmmmmmm, quiet holiday, couple of trips are good but book them locally - Fire Mountain and Sunday Market, beach does get windy but Lanzarote is known for this, don't bother going shopping in the main town [can't remember the name of it] as they are all very very very expensive!!! Hope that helps
Helen

rehomed the cds
filled the bookcase in the study
got my stuff out of my school bag and started to plan but DD came to help me and started to scribble on the worksheets I was marking:rolleyes: so I stopped
put up loads of pictures - it is now starting to look like our home :T Plus pictures take up loads of room on the floor propped up
filed loads of stuff away
we have all been to the park too - it's amazing how much you can do when you have no visitors:rotfl:

I didn't bother wrapping up well to go and put the recycling mountain out for the 7am collections. Cue four trips. Realise the chickens have not had their door shut. Realise the chicken shed door is frozen in its tracks. Collect jug of hot water and patiently defrost the chickens. Collect stupid dog who escaped when I was putting the recycling out. Check in garage for missing kitten who has not been seen since being dramatically rescued from top of wisteria at lunchtime. No kitten. Hands now numb with cold. Walk back into house, do not bother wiping steamed up glasses. Stand on cat who has been asleep upside down in the middle of the corridoor all afternoon. Find savlon for resulting scratched leg. Regret getting rid of all wine. Answer phone to DH. Do I want a takeaway and a bottle of wine?
Reader, I said No.

Hubby and DS1 are very big Rangers fans, if i told hubby they have already won, he'd say it's not over yet. OH heading over on the 23rd so i'm heading to Ik*a, thats if the weather improves.
Thats a good attitude to have, (try telling my DH that )
Whenever I am in I*ea in Glasgow there seems to be bus loads of Irish eyople, filling their trolley, I take it there isn't one over thereNot that I take offence in any way, just strange a company that size has very few locations

At that age I was going into town myself:Dgratefulforhelp wrote: »On the topic of over-protectiveness, among my many sins in the eyes of my MIL is overprotectiveness, I am quite happy to hold my hands up to that one, as the alternative is you pay so little attention to what your kids are doing that your DD gives your DS an overdose of prescription drugs age 3 and you don't even take him to hospital like she did!!!!! love my MIL!

I'm determinedto do some properflying this week and sticktothelists - going to do at least 3 HHC's tomorrow. DH is going out to fill in for a guy who has had an operation and can't do his jobs for a little bit so I will be able to get on!

A person after my own heart I see.
Tiger has appeared- he was stuck in SS1s bedroom. My beloved George Don't Do That was offered some chicken which was declined in a suitably offensive manner. She is now sat with her back to me, muttering quietly to herself. She was already annoyed about the snow and now I have hurt her and that pesty kitten has come back and the world is coming to an end .'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Thanks for the welcome back! Looking forward (yes I am quite mad) to next weeks list now!
Just packed up most of the Christmas decs which will go up into the loft tomorrow (hopefully) and the tree will come down on Tuesday. Always makes me a little sad to see the tree packed away!
Pen pen - Penny is great but desperately needs a hair cut as we can't see her eyes anymore. Mind you she is lovely and warm in there! We will have to get her a little doggie coat when she has finally been to the groomer.
Triker - I am ok thank you, just a little tired and achey after the wedding, which was expected especially as it was on top of Christmas! It was a wonderful day though with the reception in a beautiful castle! I paced though and have kept up with my vits, just need to start upping my exercise again now. ME/cfs is such a difficult illness to manage especially when life gets interesting!
How are you feeling now?
Hex - I have days like that too! made me laugh but hope you are warm now!
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
