The expression 'Get a proper job' springs to mind instead of surfing the net all day, looking for deals and selling stuff on ebay. I hope someone shops you to the social because you are 'earning' and therefore should not be entitled to benefits that hard working people pay their taxes to provide you with.

People like you make me sick with their smug attitudes to 'earning' money whilst holding their hands out to claim benefits

For the record I have no problem with people on benefits as a genuine stop gap or if they really need it but after watching my scrounger of an ex claim all sorts of DLA and drive around in a motobility car when there was bog all wrong with him some people get my goat. A bit like the couple we saw today pretending to be disabled and bragging they were going for a 'free dinner' at the local homeless shelter. We watched as they carried their crutches round the corner, only using them when in sight of their 'free lunch'.

Honestly, the amount of effort some people put into being lazy and not working staggers me sometimes

Yes it is a 'grabbit while you can' and fortunately most people like to see as many people as possible benefit from a good offer, rather than one person bagging everything - hence the reason the forum exists in the first place. I am thankful that most people like the spread the love (and the savings and good deals) around - and to those people - Happy New Year :-)

    Chris

Im not getting into anything here but 4 out of my sons are special needs and 3 claim DLA, the older ones have ADHD and Aspergers and the baby Cerebal Palsy , but out of them all its just the younger one who looks like has a disability.
What I am saying is just because ppl dont look like they may have a disablility doesnt always mean that they have not, if makes sence, im not having a go or anything just stating a fact i beleive strongly in.
I also sadly know ppl who claim DLA and whos children still play in the street, and have no medication as the parents bin it , thats there choice, we dare not let our boys play out as no road sence and we couldnt not give meds or would be insane and have no house left, it all depends on how they are affected even with a diagnosis.
I know may not come into it as you knew this person being your ex but to get dla in the 1st place they need medical proof they are as they are.
    Hope not offended anybody
    Helen

  • Just thought I would post as a past Littlewoods glitch participant - back in the Summer there was a glitch on a table set - was coming up at £19 as opposed to £100 odd

Anyway they didn't honour the glitch and they sent out cancellation emails (approx 2 weeks after ordering) as it was a pricing error so did not recieve the item.

However they did take the money and took a while to refund it which wasn't to much of a problem for me but some had ordered in large quantities so weren't best pleased at having to wait for a refund.

Hopefully this one will be honored but if it isn't and they cancel waiting for a refund of a few quid shouldn't be a prob for most hopefully ;)
  • I wonder how many they actually had in stock? It would seem alot of us have ordered in bulk - including myself! When I checked last night they were out of stock then a few hours later they were back in stock. I just hope they deliver as it will keep me from buying jeans for a good few years - providing I don't pig out too much:D

Just checked a previous statement and it would seem they are the same ones I ordered a couple of years ago. Someone posted about them not being the high rise ones but on me, these ones sit just above my belly button, not under it there for saving me from any unwanted bulges when sitting down:o
