I ordered 14 pairs  But half of them will be going back as I wasn't sure if I needed a 29 or 31" leg. I haven't had any new clothes this year so will be very very grateful if these come and fit well :D
Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass :)
  • What an idiot I am - found this thread this morning & there were so many pages of it I simply read the first & last. Have managed to order now - tho they are out of stock of 3 of the 4 colours in my size. Getting even one pair of new jeans for £1 would be brilliant, however!

Hun if you are genuine can I offer you some advice please? You are going to get yourself into trouble, especially when bank statements are seen. With you staying at your parents house 4 days a week you should have informed housing dept of this (you could loose payment),you should also inform DWP of this and the support from your parents. You should also inform them of ANY income you are receiving from elsewhere including your tax rebate and holiday pay.You will get yourself in trouble, please listen to people

Thanks for your support, and i honestly do appreciate it as its very kind of you to spend your time trying to help others. :o

But ive had enough experience with the council's departments to know how useless they are, and so just gaveup on getting involved with them now.

When i told them what my rent is (very cheap for this area), and asked them why i am being discriminated against by them and only getting half the LHA rate just because of my age they just say that 'lifes unfair'.

When i told them that my lha rate falls very short of my actual rent, they said ''You have to find a way of bridging this gap yourself then''.
(its on thier websites even saying that exact sentence)

When i asked them how exactly they suggest i bridge this gap they just say ''thats for you to workout yourself''.

When i told them that even when i added all my jsa onto my lha i only had £10 p/m left to live on solely because i was being dicriminated against because of my age and getting a sub-standard rate they just say that im on my own in dealing with that.

And so i follow their advice and way of thinking that they dont care about me, and these are my problems not theirs and so i have to find the solutions myself as they wont help,
and so i do that (legally always though).

My home is my flat. Thats where all my stuff is, where i pay my bills for, where i ppay my rent for... ect
But i just stay round my parents house as a guest lots as i get free food and stuff there.
  • thanks , managed to order .. not much left in colours so had to have both in same colour ! fab bargain , thanks OP !

IT's not as a guest in the truest sense if it is on a regular basis for the amount of time you have stated I'm afraid. You have split your residence

If your circumstances are as you say surely you should be doing the sensible thing? That's what will prevent the screwing up of your life

Omg are people really this petty that they feel the need to look through everything that ive ever written in previous posts about my personal financial situation,
and then keep commenting on that and me making use of an amazing offer??:eek:

Yes ok i am unemployed currently.
Yes i get extremely little money, 90% of which goes on paying my rent leaving me very very little left to live on.
And so yes i do need to find other ways of bridging the gap between my Lha rate and my actual rent (like the council say), and so when i see amazingly cheap offers like this i make the most of them.

Maybe information which you consider PERSONAL should not be posted on a public forum in the first place.
Whatever you financial situation, peeps bragging ( no other word for it) about getting 90 and then another 20 pairs of jeans to sell on ebay to make a personal profit will rub some other peeps up the wrong way - esp if they read the thread a few hours after you and there isn't any jeans left for them.
I am sure there are other 'business' people who use the information posted here and on other sites to make financial gain as well, but maybe it would be better if you didn't advertise the fact..
Most people on here are probably struggling financially in some way, and are grateful to be able to get ONE or TWO new pairs of jeans - ever. To read you bragging of getting over a hundred just to sell on... does not fit in with the season of goodwill to all men, however you then try to claim you are actually a public service enabling peeps to buy on ebay from you, cheaper than Littlewoods FULL price items:cool:

A timely reminder that this is a public forum, and if other peeps have the time and inclination to follow your previous posts and put together a financial/benefits scenario.... so can the benefits agencies themselves.
What are the chances that at least ONE person from the benefits or fraud dept are members os MSE.....I am sure they have their own personal financial concerns which would benefit ( pardon the pun) from Martins website.;)

I hope we all have a better financial 2010, and that everyone gets the jeans they have ordered:p
