sweetpeas - take pics of his arm, see the dr tomorrow, get it documented, and see a solicitor. Not nice, but they owe a duty of care to your son at school and they haven't given him this.

Hugs to you and your DS. xx

    Hi everyone,

I'm really upset this wkend cos DS's arm when we removed the dressing is much worse than we thought. It looks like it is going to scar.
Icant believe I started to believe te shool at the end of last wk when they said it had been stood an hour so wasn't hot etc. I feel terrible for quietly wondering if he had just imagined it or something. I actually let them start to talk me round.
I don't know whether to be upset or furious. I'm so full of mixed emotions at the minute. You can actually see where it's dripped down his hand as his hands been at his side.
Sorry to come on and moan, just really upset :(

I'm not surprised that you're upset Sweetpeas. Poor little mite. It's horrible to think that he wasn't looked after properly when it happened and the school doesn't seem to be taking it seriously. I can empathise re: your doubts - I went through a similar thing when my son was kicked & punched in the head in class last year - the school were saying they'd done things they hadn't & my son put it behind him really quickly - there was a point when I started to think I'd imagined it & was making a fuss about nothing - it was exhausting trying to stay calm & reasonable. Try to relax a bit tonight. Children are resilient little creatures - hopefully he'll heal in no time. Good luck with the school.

sweetpeas I hope the burns heal properly, and that the school learn some valuable lessons from this.

Declaring at £67.80 :onot a great start to the year but too be honest I have not had great successes on my ebay listings - only listed a few things and for too high a price so they didn't sell.

I will try again in feb, but harder!

Thanks for your support girlies :o
I could just sit and sob but that will only upset the kids and it won't make anything any better, so horrible as it probably sounds I'm trying not to think about it too much. I find myself "ok" until I look at it, then I get really upset again. :(

We have taken quite a few pics, someone that works with DH told us to do that at the very start- so we took some Wednesday after it happened, then more Friday when we took the bandages off. Not the first thing you think of is it.. so glad there was someone there to tell us to do it.
You can see the red marks turning a bit shiny, which I assume is because they are starting to scar. When I think about how the school have acted it makes me really mad. I've not hardly eaten all weekend cos I just feel suck to the stomach :(

Try to change the subject.. Purple, I'm really wanting to start getting a little collection of 24.. I prob can't afford them right now though or I'd defo have them off you. Hmm.. so much for cheering myself up! :( I am a bit partial to Keiffer though :D
