Got a cheque form MM yesterday, but as I've already declared my total in December thread and the money won't be in my bank account till new year, I shall start January early with massive £2.53! ;) Plus found 5p on floor when I went to get a bottle of coke from the vending machine.

Glad I'm not the only one starting early. Was feeling bit bad about it, but sure it'll be fine. Need all the help I can get to reach my target. December's I only achieved because of Xmas presents and I think that's cheating a bit...

  • Hiya! Ive started early too- put my overtime claim in at work for 8 hours overtime- should be paid on 15th and also going to nag my boss to ensure he gets our direct debit incentive submitted in time to get a further £140.00- added together and minussing an average tax of 25% thats £204.00 (ish!) in the pot already!! Also found £2.41 in my work change tin so added that to my usual tin at home!! Woo woo woo1 Finding this thread and also the make 10k outta £100 one really inspiring

Will only enter it on sig once money is in the account and moved to the CCard, as think that rather than save it i will put it on my CC- i change my mind so often! :)
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
