Hi purpleroses and thanks for starting the thread. Can you put me down for £10 a day please (yikes!)
Can I ask the more experienced ebayers whether there is much money to be made in Jan? I have some clothes to ebay, am I better to wait until feb?Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
OPs 2011-2016 = £45K 2017 OPs = £9250.200 -
Not sure about Ebay in Jan, I've not had much luck in flogging clothes etc at this time of year but you never know
For those of you asking how we do it - there are lots of ideas in the first post and if any member finds an idea they share it on here. Last month someone discovered B!ingo Br!tain which lots of people had a go at (I've not tried it yet). Lots of us sell things, do overtime, surveys, free bingo, savings on things you were buying anyway.
It sounds almost impossible but once you get started it really isn't too difficult. I've been doing the challenge for two years I think:eek:Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
If we count overtime il manage £280 a month from Saturdays
Only when the weather improves though.
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I've had a clear out today in anticipation of ebay selling and having ago using green met to sell books for this challenge. Got a telly to sell for £100ish too so will add that to my total when it happens. Can't wait to start!

I have soooo many books I'm never going to read again. Also "thinking about" Music Magpie, might even get my **** into gear on that one as well.

My sentiments entirely. I've been dancing around the idea of signing up to green met and MM for months!!
Come on Solv lets get our ***** into gear together. I've now made it one of my new year missions to sign up to both.0 -
Actually something else I've been 'dancing around' for a while is getting rid of my old gold. I'd always dismissed those gold adverts on TV because I'm not really a jewellery person and hadn't considered I'd got enough of anything to flog. Not so... I've picked out the cr*p from my jewellery box, eg, odd earrings, old broken bracelets (they never last long) one broken chain and a couple of bits and bobs I'm not even sure are gold but probably are. They weigh about 20 grams which I've been quoted at £157 if its all 9ct. I know at least some of it is 18ct so I should get significantly more.
I've read through the 'gold hunt' forum and got some good recommendations for Hatton Garden Metals. (Avoid TV advertised companies like the plague apparently!) They don't open till 4th Jan but I will keep you all posted as to how much I get. Hopefully half of my January target...0 -
I'd love to have a go at this again. Please can you put me down for £5 a day just while I get into the habit of doing it - hope to be up to £10 in Feb.
Good Luck all2012 Challenges - £2012 in 2012 / £00
