Evening, bit of a funny week in doodle land.
My promotion has finally been agreed as a permanant position but unfortunately they have decided in their wisdom to advertise it again so I may not get it grrrrrrrrrr
I am currently fighting this as my boss wants me to have it and it was agreed at the time that if there were no issues the job would be mine. Stupid HR people.
So for now I don't know if I will get the job and to be honest without it I am unlikely to be able to keep my car and my house :eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

I am in a really funny mood at the moment, almost on a downer but not quite. Bonus is I have recognised it so I can stop it getting to bad.
Have had a lovely day with my little girl today. Took her to swimming this morning then we went to the local farm shop to get lots of nice fruit and veg and then we did a big shop. Nothing very exciting but a lovely day for both of us.
We went to the library and got us both some new books, have just had dinner and will be reading our new unicorn book shortly.
Such a lovely simple day but so lovely.
Right I am off for a bit but feel a need for a bit of planning and list compiling later to get me back on track and motivated. See you all soonProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

hi doodles - not surprising you feel off if you are worrying about your job and paying for things. If you think the HR dept are wrong in forcing the job to be advertised I would go and see them and explain the basis on which you took the job - and make it clear they can't unilaterally change the terms now. Verbal agreements are legally binding
Hope that helpsAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH that is exactly what I did on Friday, including using the word "underhand" and "grievance" which went down a treat :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
