Vikki this is a great idea, you are an incredible person!

I have shared this on Facebook and is going to give some of the children my kids' presents. My daughter just turned 2, she got 5 dolls in total for her birthday and Xmas presents! And my son who is 3 has too many cars too.
  • I've done a couple of cards. (The stats update page doesn't seem to be working).

  • This is such a brilliant cause, and I'm wanting to help. But I need some help too. I have some old toys that I want to pass on to children like these, but the toys are too heavy or large to post. Does anyone know a way to donate directly, such as to a children's hospital ward or home? I don't want to just give them to a charity shop, because although they'll sell the toys and make some money, I'd like some children to benefit directly. I live in the Huddersfield area, so any local information would great. TIA
  • I sent one off this morning with a card and kindly intended but unsuitable gift for me (20) from my younger sister - a sew together pink foam handbag! I hope it brings them happiness.
  • Thanks for posting this link. I shall pass this on at school and church and will happily post things regularly.
  • Thank you everyone!

  • Just looked through all the childrens' info and have a list of children to write to and sent little gifts to! :) I've come across this site before and have been putting aside little gifts and things with these children in mind so this week I'm going to make a start really personalising everything and sending them out :)

I work in a hospital and I know our childrens ward were asking for people to donate DVDs recently, and I think we do accept other other donations directly. Give your local hospital a call and see if you can speak to someone on the paediatric ward about it!
