Whats the cheapest way to feed my cat?

Just to reiterate what a lot of people have said on this thread - feeding a cat on purely dried food is risky as it can harm their kidneys.
I give mine some dried food though, just keep life a bit more interesting.
Mainly use sainsbuy's tinned catfood.
But i do give her little bits of left-overs to get some good quality protein in there.
Sardines (in water only) are cheap and really good for them. Rather rich though, so just as a treat once a week or something. Mine loves them and goes mental as soon as i open the tin! :j

I guess the old fashioned advice of moderation in all things applies here too!0 -

I asked on another thread, Lily-Lu, IIRC the answer was Sainsburys and Tesco.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

What brand is that, please? I can't feed my cats' fish due to one of them having a skin condition (which would get worse after feeding fish), so I'm asking more out of curiousity. I used to feed ferrets' tinned fish occasionally, but never managed to find one without salt added.
Sainsbury's 'in spring water'. Blue tin.0 -

I read that raw tomatoes are toxic because they have molecules in there which are harmful but the molecules break down when heated and are no longer bad so cookeed tomatoes are ok for cats? So feeding a small amount of fish in tomato sauce is alright.D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
Has anyone tried this high meat wet cat food.
Forthglade Fresh Chicken Menu

Feeding Guide
For an average 3.5Kg cat, feed one tray per day.
At £11.91 for 24 x 125g trays it works out at about 49p a tray. However they add VAT onto order so it will be about 58p a tray.
Delivery costs are a tad confusing (you have to ask for a quote if you're outside their area or (I think) below £35. I'm inside their area so for me it would cost £4.99 for orders over £35 (before VAT and delivery added)."carpe that diem"0 -
Looks good, Bozita is cheaper I think.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
