i love this site, just been to collect middle child from mother in laws, had home renewal billfor £171.15, thanks to this site got it down to £95.38, not bad for a nsd day and a saving of over £75 even if it isn't for me still makes me smile that the big companies aren't getting it!! whoa me!!

    Well done rubiesr4eva :j
Woohoo - a FIFTH non-spend day for me, which was my January target met!

Brilliant - double well done Intergalactic Floozie (love your name, by the way!) :j:j

my nails that were part of my first NSD quests in removing the Xmas fakeys by myself are bleeding all over the place I need to do something to my hands to make them look a little better before work tomorrow else people will think I've been finger tortured!

Ceebeeby, like curlygirl, I now have an image of you and your nails in my head, and it's not pretty . Hope they heal quickly

    Hi to everyone else,
Another NSD for me as still too scared to venture out. The ice was starting to thaw a bit today, I can now see my car again, but it's freezing again tonight . Thanks for your encouragement, curlygirl, but unfortunately I live in a narrow lane on the edge of a very small town in the frozen north west and our road isn't well used anyway. Will have to wait another couple of days (hopefully) before it's safe to venture out again and spend some money.

Getting very inventive with OH's shopping - bless him, he is trying..

Well done to everyone who managed an NSD today - this snow is doing us all a favour (but I do wish it would go now).

Hugs to anyone struggling with anything.
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

I'm okay if I type slowly and don't knock the raw bits where nail should be!!!

I've walloped Teflon Tuff Extra Strength Nail Protector all over the stumps (found in the back of a drawer from about 10 years ago - thank goodness I throw nothing away), so at least they're shiny stumps - and hopefully this will prevent anymore nails from cracking in half!

Just a thought, but if you have a swear box, and you erm accidentally erm let one (or more!) bad words slip, do you think that counts as a spend! The moneys not actually left the house as such. What do you guys reckon?
  • i reckon thats a saving not a spend!!! lol
