Well, I didn't go down town and buy the things I couldn't get with my main shop last night (I think I can manage without them)
.

Very lazy lie-in for me today... didn't get up until 12.30
As my trip this weekend got cancelled and I'm now trying to avoid going out and spending frivolously, I have the christmas tree to take down, the lights and decorations to put away, some HM rolls and soup to make and I might even tackle the room that needs a good tidy. That should keep me busy.
However BF has arranged for us to meet up with lots of friends this evening now tat I'm unexpectedly at home... so I doubt I can make today a NSD given tonight's socialising. But I'll do my best to keep it a LSD

Everything little that has happened in the house has been a complete trauma blown out of all proportion (eg leaky pan) and the reason I dared not post today was because I knew there was a strong possibility I would tell you about something really flipping awful to do with human waste matter (saying the actual word makes me gag) and frozen pipes. :eek:And that's just really a post too far.
Is it really gross of me to be slightly intrigued as to what this really awful thing is?
My run of snow-bound NSDs have come to end as we really needed some essentials, but it was perhaps the most traumatic trip to Morrisons I've ever hd. Had to get pushed out of a snow drift (the car, not me) - for a horrid moment I thought I would be stuck till the snow melted.DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

NSD today and yesterday (5/10) - entirely due to kids being at home and snow and not wanting to venture further than the local shops.
I wanted to buy some flowers today to get me through the deep midwinter but the bunches in Tesco looked a bit sad so I saved myself £6.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
