    Hi all,
Sorry for three posts in a row but I've really lost the plot today :confused::confused:

Managed NSD no 8 - only reason is being imprisoned in the house by this bl**dy snow/ice . No real reason to go out and risk breaking my neck as I work from home (has its advantages sometimes but not at the moment!). Very fed up with it now, it really needs to go so that I can go out and spend some money (sorry BigMummaF :o:o:o).

Anyway, I'll stop feeling sorry for myself now - sorry about that.

Well done to everyone with the NSDs - you're all doing great.

Hugs to anyone still suffering from snow/ice/illness/heating problems, etc etc.

    xx

Well done - you have done well not to do any internet shopping, think i would have been tempted to. I went into town today before i came home as i needed to collect my Body Shop card and felt compelled to look around as i had not been to the shops since Saturday. Can't remember feeling like this before but i guess its more in my mind now about spending money.

    Thanks skaps,
Thing is, I don't actually need anything, so would feel guilty (what, me, feel guilty about spending money:confused:?) about buying anything. Must be this MSE site I think

I have been in an horrendous mood all week. Everything little that has happened in the house has been a complete trauma blown out of all proportion (eg leaky pan) and the reason I dared not post today was because I knew there was a strong possibility I would tell you about something really flipping awful to do with human waste matter (saying the actual word makes me gag) and frozen pipes. :eek:And that's just really a post too far.

I have sores on my bum (probably) due to being sat on it all freaking day (working from home but no desk so sat on sofa with laptop). I'm getting DVT in my legs. I am, I can feel it. The pavement is still very icy and with working during the day I'm not meant to go anywhere during the day anyway. But tomorrow is a different matter - I may not be able to get the car out of the drive but I live on a busy main road and this is about the ONLY time I'm grateful to live on a noisy dirty main road because it means the bus stop is just one block away. I'm practically hyperventilating with excitment!

I'm going to get on that bus and pay my fare (sorry BigMummaF) and I'm going to skip round town (as far as my protective hiking boots will allow) and I'm going to look in shops (only the windows) and you know what? I just might get myself a bag of mixed nuts to sprinkle on my porridge. Damn I know how to live life. I also need to replace the BIL's present after I ate it.

Anyway just to make this post a valid post on the NSD thread 'Today is a NSD and there's no flipping way tomorrow will' Hurrah :T

Well today was supposed to be a NSD but after going shopping last night and the store looking like a swarm of locusts had been in, I still need a few bits for the week so I have to try another shop today.

I wanted some olive oil but I think it's all been frozen as every single bottle on the shelf in Mr S was cloudy and white  ???

Taking DD to her B/F this morning so i'll pop into town on my way home. Tomorrow, however, WILL be a NSD ! (It had better be  :D)
