Failed in my NSD today, BUT I consider the purchase an investment...I bought some packaging for craft items I am going to sell on Ebay/Website...I've joined the £100 to £10,000 in 2010 Challenge, so although it is technically a spend, it's also an investment and therefore untechnically doesn't count! :o

Spent today as the OH isnt well so needed lockets... went to get them for him and picked up a few extra things too - like plastic food tubs and bags :)

Tomorrow should be a NSD - things to pick up from the PO and prescription to pick up... may get that filled but even though ill have to pay, its going to be claimed back so i wont be counting it as a spend. Either way though, at 2/10 so far, im happy enough.
    On the up :D

No spending again today, school was closed this morning but we had to stay and wait until all children were collected so stopped me going to get coffee with other teachers. Tee hee :T

School closed tomorrow too so going to stay in the warm and hopefully will then be half way to my target. Yay! :j
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

No 4 for me today :T, although Im starting to get itchy feet to pop to Asda as their cleaning event has started and theyve got Aerial/Bold Liquidtabs etc on offer amongst other things, but I'm hanging in there and waiting until Saturday when I do my weekly shop. :rotfl:

  • I planned today to be a spend day as I am meeting a friend after work for a drink.

But I'm feeling virtuous on two fronts

    1) I bought my travel tickets to cardiff this weekend (megabus there £9 and MUCH cheaper than train... cheapest trainfare back... so actually saved a lot of money by planning ahead.) By looking around I still managed a massive saving - despite travelling peak time after work on Friday. Very pleased with the influence of you MoneySavers : )

    2) I tried out one of the bread roll recipes on the OS forums and made some rolls last night to use this week. Today's lunch was a cheese, chutney and rocket salad roll and the bread was absolutely delicious! So I am feeling very virtuous today. Going to make lentil soup to bring in a flask to work tomorrow to use up another roll.

Thank you for keeping me on track and motivated! I'm still on 3/15 NSD's for Jan... which I think is good going so far : )
Proud to be dealing with my debt
