I've signed up for the £100 clothes challenge (madness!) but does anybody know about a challenge for toiletries? I'm also trying to pay off £1400 in 100 days do I'll need all the NSDs I can get.

Good luck everone and happy no spending.

PS I love love Curlygirl1971's word "Frugalvolity" - it makes being frugal sound quite a jolly thing - that's going to be my mantra!

LOL. I was a little tiddly at the time!

KatieClampet is doing a 'No spending on Toiletries' Challenge. Not been posting long so if I can figure out how to give you a link to the thread I will do (otherwise just search for her). I've signed up to it but I find the NSD challenge the most 'fun'. Hmmm I'm clearly suffering from a case of Furgalvolity. But I think all the challenges you sign up to do their job so much better than doing it on your own - if you have to report and account for yourself I think it makes you more disciplined

  • Unexpected NSD for today, we went to the in-laws for dinner and footie watching and got given bread, milk, loo rolls and teabags as a thanks for looking after their dog over past week while OH's dad was in hospital. Not exactly glamorous pressies  but it was everything we had run out of, so thanks MIL for NSD 3!

    Try this

I had a look at that thread a while back, I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to toiletries, so I'm gonna pop over myself and have a nosy! :p

Hooray my first NSD today. Spent the day using up my xmas cheeses and made a lovely cake out of one of them. Also have now prepared food for lunches for tomorrow and dinner tomorrow. At one point though did falter as the Betterware catalogue came and then my OH pointed out that 'this isn't going to help your NSDS'. So instead ive kept the information about the catalogue and passed it onto my dad who is looking for a part time job.
