Really want to finish my sugarcraft course before giving out cards as there's a few things I need to learn. I'm planning on doing is to select a few popular recipes for cupcakes and biscuits and maybe create a few of my own, and then Invite a group of friends round to see what the they think... kind of a focus group. Have you tried creating your own recipes or modifying ones you have? I tend to find a lot of recipes overly sweet may try reducing the sugar and see how they turn out!

Got my first mixer last weekend so have been baking like crazy, made some red velvet cupcakes, and some sugar cookies all from the Hummingbird cookbook which I highly recommend!

Have my sugarcraft class this today which I'm really looking forward to as we're learning how to pipe, which is something I've always wanted to do would love to make those pretty little cupcakes!

Has anybody looked in to the formalities of setting up a business yet? Think I may do a quick google!

  • Love this thread :) I'm new to forums and like the idea of a support network for new business start ups and ideas :) I'm looking at different business ideas at the minute and am interested in making cakes but also like making chutneys and sweet chilli sauces, not sure which is going to be better for me yet. Thanks for the advice and hope to contribute more soon
