Thank you molly41 :A! I think the last time I went to the IWM was when the "Forties' Fashion" exhibition was on - several years ago! I bought the accompanying book, which I still love.0

I was there recently (first visit) and thoroughly enjoyed it but would recommend comfortable shoes especially if you have walked for miles around London the day before!!!! Lots of 'Oh! do you remember that?' and 'Oh! My Mum/Grandma had one of those' in the 1930's house/area.
Well worth a visit and count me in if you organise a trip.:T0 -
Thanks. I'd be interested in going. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Thanks Thriftlady, doubt I'll make it to London sadly, but I've bookmarked the blog (looks interesting itself!) and will put the book on my Amazon wishlist0

I've never actually been to the London IWM- really must try and get there next year. We go to Duxford fairly often though which I love.0

The blog has been updated (http://food.iwm.org.uk) including a Ministry of Information film about rationing, released in 1944.

We are going to visit the exhibition asap after it opens. Loved the video, I've been stalking the blog so I spotted it yesterday and watched it through twice!
I'm ashamed to say that we lived in London for years but never went to the IWM - it was one of those things that was always on the list but we never got around to it. But I'm really excited about this, I can't wait, and DH is coming with me so it'll be a nice day out.0
