I bought one of these before Xmas but it hasn't been used yet. As you rightly point out Tesco were (and still are) stating a 270 day expiry. I made my purchase on the basis of this as it will only be used occasionally.not sure if i thinking of the same thing but just taken from the tesco web site who are still selling this dongle
Vodaphone Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband dongle gives you broadband access at speeds of up to 3.6mbps, without a fixed contract or direct debit, giving you freedom and flexibility to use the internet where ever you are. Includes £15 of top up already loaded, giving you 1GB credit straight away with 270 days to use it in before you need to top up again.
Should I just get my money back now before the dongle is used rather than risk the credit running out after 30 days?0

            Hi everyone,
Sorry for the delay in reply, I have now had confirmation back from the guys who manage this project.
 Official word is -
Customers who purchased their Top Up & Go dongle before the 26th December 09 will remain on the "No Expiry" Top Up & Go plan. If you purchased your dongle after the 26th Dec 09, Tops up's for your dongle will expire after 30 days.
Thanks to you guys flagging the error up on the website, I pointed this out to the project team and it has now been amended.
I will be happy to pass on all of your feedback to the powers that be. I will also look into what is happening with Tesco for you.
Will report back soon with more info.
Update - Tesco and all other indirect retailers will be selling the original "No Expiry" dongles until the 4th January.
Have a great new year everyone.
 All the best,
 Espi
