o2 Message Allowance

Hi.
Last week i upgraded to the iphone 3gs, 35pm, i get 600 mins and 500 texts.
When i log on online if i go My bill > Inclusive allowance it says i have 500 texts and 500 online double messages, which is from before i upgraded. And 'available next bill' says the same amount..
When i go to main bill homepage and click on my allowance it says i only have 500 texts and have 120 left for the month.
Im a bit confused as to whether its just not updated yet and im not going to get those texts anymore. It only bothers me because i use more than 500 texts a month but refuse to pay extra for a bolt on when my contract with insurance is 40+ a month now anyway.
Do you reckon i could ring o2 and see if they will let me keep the 500 extra texts? Say i was told when i upgraded i could keep them. I know its lying but wondering if it will work? Hmmm i still have a week before i can cancel.

You can ask about it, but if you are not happy i would advise you cancel or ask to have the contract amended otherwise you will have it for the next 18/24 months.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
