Vikki - whats the clasp called thats at the top of your bag charm ? I need some clasps of some sort to finish off the bag charms I've done so they'll fix on to a bag.

I buy these ones from ebay, item number 250659967614 great value seeing as you get the chains on them too.

Why aren't we allowed to talk about our blogs? It is really silly most of us just put our creations on there, what is wrong with that?

I have just started jewellery making and would really like some comments about it, good or bad and doing it on a BLOG is the best way surely!

So come on mods either explain why they are being taken down or leave it be!! :p

Sorry just needed to vent that!

Thanks susan and Vikki for the number. Trust me to be awkward though..........I need two that are silver coloured and the rest either gold/brass or that sort of antique finish ............should have thought of all this before I started........numpty me !! Least now I know what I'm looking for.............maybe our local key cutting shop has got some. I'll try there tomorrow maybe.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi everyone! :D

This is my first comment on this thread so please be gentle haha.

I got into jewellery making properly about a month ago after seeing the jewellery making threads on here and want to thank everyone for their ideas and useful comments!

I've started experimenting with various bracelets and earrings and even some fimo clay which i found quite fun to work with :D I'm most proud of some Peruvian thread earrings that I learnt how to make after a lot of trial and error :rotfl:

Nicolay - Those earrings are amazing I love them! Wouldnt even know where to start with making those, it must take some serious skill. :T

I am going to my OH's football presentation night tomorrow night and I have sponsored a race as Blingery and donated some jewellery for the raffle so will hopefully get some exposure there! Need to find time to get to work on some new pieces though, I have some new beads and the gorgeous glass tiles I got from craftyjuju but no time to play :(

I made these earrings last week but I am unsure about them, I bought the earring loops but they arent the standard 'through the ear' ones so I had to put some ear hooks on them - is that right??

Please let me know what you think (good and bad lol :o)
    Xx

Nicolay - those earrings look lovely :T

Well, tried our local shop this morning for lobster clasps -no luck.........but googling last night I found a site that seems to sell just what I want in the silver colour, gold and antique type colour so think I'll end up getting them from there.
Be easier if I did need different colours........oh well, I'll know next time...........:)

:rotfl::rotfl:Sorry just got to share this with you all, it made me smile :rotfl::rotfl: Some of you may remember me telling you a couple of weeks ago about a lady at work being a little childish with me & saying I was copying her just because I asked where she got her resin from! Well while on Folksy I thought I'd check out the new makes from my saved sellers (as you do) & low & behold shes started selling tiles with old stamps on...just like I have! mmmm....other thing is she doesn't talk to me or make any effort to at work...oh well I will though :D
