i'd go with what you're saying Percy, it's pretty pointless trying to debate with Hamish, Chucky and the smurf. They'd all say black is white to avoid losing money on their assets, same goes for Haliblag, Nationlies and any other company with potentially billions to lose.

i wasn't debating - i was telling him not to join the Nembot Loser Crew (NLC).

i have no symphathy for ex-debt junkies who blame others for their misfortunes.

unfortunately not everyone is able to afford property - it's life, get over it.

So, should people be repossessed if they can't pay their mortgage?

we've had this before Nearlynew - you ask the same question every day to different people.
i'm surprised that a man with 4 properties has such a point of view

    I know.
And I still haven't had an answer.

It's a tricky one for you isn't it?

It's called "the paradox of bullsh1t"

you've had an answer - but try the search function or does the tin hat you're wearing not allow you to think?

how can someone with 4 houses like you (yes 4 houses) even try and talk to me about repossessions. people like you are just greedy...

if people get repossessed there must be a good reason for them to be repossessed - maybe they haven't paid their mortgage

why shouldn't people be repossessed then?

That is my whole point. They should be repossessed.

Instead they are being propped up by funny money in an attempt to maintain high prices.

What you cannot explain is why it is ok for one group of people to be able to "own" a house when they can't afford it...

While on the other hand saying those who are priced out are just part of the group of people who, historically, can never afford to buy.

    ps I own 2 houses, not 4

it's the way it is, it may not be right but it's the way it is.
get over it houses go up, houses come down.

you probably think that people on minimum wage can be able to buy property with at least 20 acres of land.

i hope that it was at 3 times the average wage.... i bet it wasn't though... was it...

Actually, I take that back, I did some research and it seems he does after all. I even found a picture.....

Look at his childish posts, nearlynew is obviously a teenager on the dole living at home with mummy and daddy, angry at the world because he failed to get a job and can't afford a house!!!!!!!!

Just put him on ignore, best thing I ever did.:T
