  • Theres no reason you can't move them away from windows and place them where ever you like (on the ceiling if you wish!) but the best place is under windows.

I must admit, in my house i have put them where is best for my furniture / living style!
  • I had my rads placed right by the door ... as I figured I could never put furniture there, so it was an ideal spot :)

    I thought you rented, PN?
  • Like I said:

What is the right end of the stick??

As for my "mistaken view" I think you may find its pretty much standard for anyone who has been trained recently & not in the 1970's.

As for the difference between "moved away" & "installed" & " being under a window sounds stupid, but apparently it is the best place for them " I will leave it to your own limited intelligence to work out who is twisting whose words...

Oh sh*te I can do italics...

Building regs & insulation & window construction & energy conservation do.

However if you do have a massive draft coming in from your windows it might be an idea to place a 2nd rad there or alternatively you could do the right thing & fix it.

It's most unusual to fit radiators by a door. For one thing, many walls next to a door are short in width, have recesses, or are just unsuitable. On top of which, every time someone opens the door heat escapes.

Physics don't change though. And new builds still have rads under windows.

I suggest you read your own posts back to yourself.

    Sanctimonious !!!! .
Get over it. As you were insulting, I think you have very little grounds to complain that I did not insult you.
