Living room radiator

We built our house 21 years ago, we don't have rads under the window in any of our living rooms. They are all on internal walls in all rooms as far as possible. For the size of house our bills are very reasonable, and we are always toasty warm.0

I have NEVER said that radiators should go away from windows. Sorry to disappoint.

Rads should go under windows where possibly.
And if your going for a tall rad in the corner, you may need two0 -

Like I said:
What is the right end of the stick??
As for my "mistaken view" I think you may find its pretty much standard for anyone who has been trained recently & not in the 1970's.
As for the difference between "moved away" & "installed" & " being under a window sounds stupid, but apparently it is the best place for them " I will leave it to your own limited intelligence to work out who is twisting whose words...
Oh sh*te I can do italics...Not Again0 -

But if you feel that cold air past your feet and warm air past your head is best, then go with it. The physics you have come up with is correct, but your application of it is mistaken. And if that is what is being taught, it is being taught wrong.
I'll accept that my intelligence is finite. Not that yours is infinite, although that is a mistake I could understand you making. I am less convinced by your argument for the fact that you support it with abuse.
And if you are doing the teaching of this topic, perhaps you are doing it wrong.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I suggest you read your own posts back to yourself.

I'm glad we cleared this one up!
I genuinely don't know, but googling suggested that under the window was the best place. I didn't see anything official looking saying otherwise. Do you have any links 1984? I guess there must be a load if this is now what people are being taught.0 -
I had my rads placed right by the door ... as I figured I could never put furniture there, so it was an ideal spot0
