Unfortunately my DD learnt this phrase from my Dad (he has been known to use it when cooking and something goes wrong). Rather delightfully she decided to try it out when at her other grandparents', in their kitchen. I was so embarassed, definitely counts as a swear word in my book.

I was gobsmaked! You really do need to watch what you are saying.

i wouldnt say it was a swear word, i would say its a "not nice" word and no i wouldnt like my kids going round saying it

Thanks everyone I am still convinced it says what i think, swear word or not I dont like it from a 6 year old. I will contact Hasbro to see what they say the phrases are. I would have thought that some one would listen to the phrases recorded to see if they are similar to anything that could be offensive in which ever country they are sold in.
We had marathons but now have snickers etc etc.

my 4 and 2 [tomorrow Eeeek] year olds call buckeroo '!!!!!!oo'.

god knows what the doll says but we have a pick up truck toy that belongs to boris that has in among its phrases the phrase 'one car'. except it sounds like its saying 'wan*er' and its a source of amusement to us all. not for the soundalike for the kids, they just play with it.

my son (3) muddles up words in songs and currently sings "scooby dooby doo had a shaggy" totally innocent and just a muddle but oh how embarrasing!
