Aren't the prove it cards free? Wouldn't it be better if all teenagers/young adults got themself one of these? I'm always nagging my 18 yr old daughter about it, gotta be much easier than carrying your passport around with you4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

not sure if the prove cards are free but i dont think they cost a lot and are well worth the embarresment of being refused, thankfully i have a full uk driving license, (im 25) but still get asked from time to time, although lately not so much which is getting offensive lol
As for provisional driving license like someone has said the ID checks for obtaining one isnt a thourgh as full license, id would say thats because more people apply for a provisional than a full, (i.e apply but never take a test or fail)Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

That's strange as I've actually HAD to give colour copies of passport before for job interviews etc."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I imagine the prove it cards are similar to the Citizen Card I got through school. Despite being introduced through the Proof of Age Standards Scheme and the card having the relevant hologram, I've had it refused in several places, although I'e just spotted the PASS website has a 'Card Refusal' form to report such cases...0 -

They are meant to accept the cards with the PASS logo on. If they don't ask for the manager and tell them you will be reporting them both to trading standards and to the PASS website. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
