my daughter has received a lg cookie phone for xmas, and while attempting to set it up with the £10 airtime, she has deleted the text message containing her new number, and we cant find anywhere which has the new mobile no on.

Does anyone know how/where to find the mobile number - is it stored on the phone somewhere? I thought it would be on the box, but apparantly not:confused:

phone another mobile and it should display the number.
phone your landline, hang up then dial 1471
probably also stored in the phone settings somewhere but I'm not familiar with the phone.

If number has been assigned to the sim card - then you can find it by going to Settings->Communicate-> Speed Dials
In there is the voicemail number which ought to be number (at least it is on t-mobile).

Other option - can you make a call - you could try calling someone (landline usually you can find out by diallling 1471 to see who called).
