Babyjayne - they really are sweet............I'm sorely tempted. Not something I've had a go at before:)

  • Always been a lurker, but wanted to add, about the salt dough, please don't leave the microwaving to guess time like I did - thought the "creations" didn't seem cooked, as when I took them out they still felt soft. I realise now of course I should have left them alone longer to harden and not put them back in the microwave to turn a lovely shade of black with a lingering smell in the mix. Of course I now know better! :)

Todays efforts not much due to a meeting this afternoon...........but did get done three choccy bars covered in paper to look like reindeer (sort of...lol) one I did as a 'lady' so she's in paler paper with ruby red lips...........lol Used some pipe cleaners left over from last year for the antlers and stuck them on. Now I need to get more choccy bars........only got three in case I messed it up.............lol
Recipe index box I covered is now all varnished with ''Recipes'' on the front and printed out recipes inside so thats another thing done.
Still seems loads to do but really its only little things so I don't need to panic..............but I do................lol:rotfl:

  • There is so much going on here, I can't keep up, fab ideas all round. A quick question, I bought some lovely 99p kilner type jars from Home Bargains to give as Xmas pressies and can't decide what to put in them. Is marmalade too dull? I wondered about a Christmas chutney recipe or cranberry and port sauce or similar? Any thoughts everyone?? Thanks :)

Hope it's ok to but in, ( I take a peek regularly for ideas) there is a free calendar template that you can personalise on this link http://www.bagsoflove.co.uk/calendars/free-personalised-photo-calendar/
just noticed some of you were doing calendars, it does come with some ad stuff on the bottom but I'm sure they are easy enough to blank out before you print them out.
    Booo!!!

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

They sold really well last year and the year before I made them for all my family. Most of them still have them sitting on their shelves:D
