I was wondering......
i am fairly new to the site, and i have spent MANY hours (:D) looking through past threads, especially the A-Z pinned thread at the top and love reading about all past ideas, and seeing the finished pictures.
I have time to do this as i am a SAHM
but it would be really helpful to me, and other newbies if some of the more long standing members would perhaps make a small list of suggestions as to what they have or intend to make, just a few ideas that we can go and look for threads/instructions on, as starting at the begining is quite daunting and we may miss some lovely things:D
i have always made homemade gift baskets as presents, and i have decided to make snowman soup & the retro sweetie boxes so far, i read through any & every thread i could find, but i know i for one would REALLY appreciate a pointer in, well, any direction really:beer:0 -
:Dhi i am looking to make the snowman soup for christmas and was looking on ebay for the cellophane cones they sell medium and large just wondering what size to buy:(0

Midnighttraven i'm not really a long standing member so probably not going to be of much help but i have made sock monkeys for children (very easy) and there is a whole thread on it, lots of different themed hampers including pamper, cooking, garden, girly night in hampers (again there is a thread full of hamper pictures). At the minute i am into sewing and trying to make lots of sewn gifts such as cushions, handbags etc. There are lots of great links on the sewing thread but with regards to really easy projects i would recommend the one hour bag tutorial by ric rac there is a link to it on my blog which is here http://www.scratchycatcrafter.blogspot.com . If you scroll down to the bottom of my blog there is a link.
Its always worth looking at peoples blogs aswell to get some good ideas and look at what they have made:D
Hope this helps a bit but hopefully someone else will be along to give you some more ideas.V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
