    I got that same email about a problem with my card but there is no problem and I ordered mine last night, strange.

    For those who got the message re problems with your card, did you get this email message;

    Dear ....

    Thank you for your recent order.

    Unfortunately we have experienced problems taking payment for your order,
    as your card issuer has declined your transaction. If you still wish to
    receive this item, please log into your account and re-enter your card
    details so that they can be re-verified, and your order will be processed
    as quickly as possible.

    You still have the option to cancel the order by logging into your account
    and pressing the cancel button next to the item in your outstanding
    orders.

    If you experience any further problems please contact our Customer Service
    Department on 0845 800 1020 (UK only) or +44 (0)1534 877 595 (outside UK)

    Because if we all got the same and there is no probs with cards, I know there isn't in my case, then Play.com are being very naughty. It looks like the offer has finished now as I can't see the free coin anywhere. BOOHOO

    Quite worrying that many of you are having card trouble - esp since the item is free anyway... *rolls eyes at play*

    Even if they take your order they still have a get out clause by saying that orders are only accepted once items have been shipped and once an email/order has been shipped then it is confirmed but up until then they can cancel orders.

    I have had it on a previous occassion where they cancelled an order for a DVD as they advertised it too cheaply and I never got my order accepted

    Cannot find the page on their site relating to these details

    Wonder if they are clamping down on this offer as they are probably gettign hammered

    they should at least say they have made a mistake rather than saying peoples card details are incorrect when they are not.
