My first speeding ticket

Always prided myself on having a clean driving licence ever since I passed my test...just been notified that I was snapped doing 38mph in a 30 zone.
So now 3 points heavier, £60 lighter and feeling considerably stupid, angry and disappointed with myself.
Pointess post. Just wanted to winge.
Wah

know how you feel .I got stuffed £80 for driving down a one way street the wrong way a few years back. Fine, whatever. But the sickener was they only changed it that morning, the sign was hidden behind a tree and there were police officers literally in doorways booking people up and down the road.
I decided then I would avoid driving if at all possible, i'm just far too tight for it
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

This is my first time also in 20 years of driving and is making me paranoid about going over the 30 mile barrier.
Still awaiting for fine and points or whatever it is they are going to throw at me.

Well to be fair, I'ma great believer in personal responsibility. I saw the signs for a 30mph, I was in control of the vehicle....I'm to blame. I accept full responsibility.
You can complain all you like about the morality of speed cameras, but to be fair, it's a totally voluntary fine. It's my fault I was speeding, not the cameras. I wasn't trying to whine my may out of it.0 -

Floated my mouse over it...you're right...it's not really a group hug is it.
If this is what you get for a speeding ticket....I wonder what I can get for a bank robbery?
