isn't difflam for sore throats? I suppose the benzocaine will numb the ulcer and help with the pain but i don't think it will actually treat the ulcer (unless there's another product i'm not aware of).

Damn! Maybe I should make up my own spray... dragons den here I come! Lol!
  • I was lucky enough to pick up a solitary box of the Bonjela Once in Sainsburys for 25p !! I thought I would try it - OMG ..... its fabulous ! Although the ulcer is still there for the usual 5-6 days after just one application you cant feel it! You only get 2 applications in the box which at full price is pretty hefty...but what price pain ! There are 4 buds in the box but 2 are just normal cotton buds for drying. I think that there is far too much liquid in the applicator - if there was less then it would still do the job and would be cheaper. I would consider paying full price for them next time .
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • There is no treatment for minor ulcers- they will heal by themselves and what's needed is pain relief. Difflam is fine for this and useful for sore throats too!

Didn't it make you cry?:o (I drew blood I was squeezing my arm so hard!) Mind you it was the upper front of my teeth I was trying at the time!

Think that Boots, Tesco et al need to do their own (cheaper) version and cannot believe they haven't done so yet.
