Help with a strange letter from Virgin please.

Options
Yesterday I got a letter from Virgin saying that my virgin media account is approaching my credit limit:shrug: and asking me to make a payment of £98

I dont understand this as im new to Virgin.

I have just had my 1st bill which is due to come out of bank on Jan 6th which i though was all ok and would not have any problems so i dont understand why i got this letter and i am worried that they may turned me off over Christmas when ive done nothing wrong and have.

What does this all mean and why have i been sent this letter when ive only been with Virgin since 29th Nov and was told by them that the 1st DD would be about 6 weeks after i joined which it will be when they take the 1st DD on Jan 1st so dont understand any of it and dont understand why they are asking me for money when my DD is not due yet.

Please help someone.

How much is your monthly package going to cost? Have you used services that will take your first bill well above this level?

Our Monthly Cost is about £75 and seems to have started since we ordered a 2nd on the 21st Dec as the letter was sent on that day.

I think it's because your first bill is for 2 months. I got this on my first month, but nothing since.

    Don't worry about it.
