Does anyone know what Tesco are like for returns?
I do have a slight issue though.........
I have a printer (that has just stopped working and after searching the net I have found that this is not something that I can fix) that I am unsure of when I bought (Think that it may be 12-18 months)
The reason why I am unsure is because I have the box etc but no recipt.
I have checked online and they no longer sell the item.
Thanks

Can you remember how you paid? It's just possible they might accept sight of a bank or credit card statement as proof of purchase? Mind you, if it was over 12 months ago I suspect you won't have much joy.
Good luck though.0 -
Not sure how I paid for it0

With no proof you purchased it, no memory of when or how - I don't suppose there is a lot Tesco can do!
I'd go through my bank statements and see if I could find it. If you paid in cash then you're probably out of luck."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
I managed to get a full refund for a monitor which stopped working 2 years into the 3 year warranty. It was a bit of a battle to get Tesco to agree to a refund: lots of letters and emails quoting Sale of Goods Act. However, they did eventually refund the full amount. I'd lost the receipt but had paid by debit card and was able to produce a bank statement showing the transaction.0
