    Welcome to the forum.

Is it rented or have you bought?

If rented, it is the landlord's problem.

If you bought then see your solicitor. Those selling must declare any known problems. The previous owner will have to pay for the repair.
  • yeh we have bought the property and i will speak to my solictors then thanks.
