security issue on PC

i very rarely use my PC however been having a few issue with my laptop so decided to start using it again however having massive issues with it the computer has more viruses, trojons and cant clear them i use avg but the virus is stopping me opening to scan my PC and i cant get online either so not really sure what to do pls help:eek:

Transfer to your computer that's infected. If you can't get online, then you won't be able to get the updates, so run a quick scan and delete what it finds. Then see if it will let you update, and then run a full scan.

Try rebooting and pressing F8 to get into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING and try malwarebytes from there (If you can then UPDATE it and run a FULL scan)
