UniquePhones Mobile Unlocking

I recently tried to unlock a new mobile that I have acquired by renewing my contract and I used UniquePhones online. Their website is very slick and makes promises to have codes within 24 hours. Having placed the order I did not receive my code but did receive more queries on the phones codes. When I replied to them I still did not receive codes. Despite chasing them on a daily basis I did not receive a code. It has taken a week and lots of standard email responses from them. Today I got an email stating that my order had been "refunded" with no other explanation.
This is the second company I have tried online without success, I need to unlock the phone for Christmas as it is to be a present. Any help with a reputable company online would be appreciated.
p.s. it cannot be unlocked for free as far as I can see, its a Sony Ericsson T715

Have looked for any shops on the high street that offer to unlock the phone, have you contacted the network it is locked to, sometimes you can pay them for the code.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
