clarifying this as its a tricky one and it took me until today to work it out :)
Bob Marley and the Wailers Africa Unite the singles collection is the title, but there are at least 2 types about depending on what the supplier has sent.
bar code 602498347522 will be the single CD version and will scan at £8.97 and can be found with SEL and / or sticker of either 8.97 or 12.97.
bar code 602498349199 will be the double CD version with virtually identical packaging (sometimes with a cardboard outer and other times not) and that scans at 19.29 but may have SEL and / or sticker of 8.97 or 12.97.
obviously the bar code on the 8.97/12.97 SEL matches the single CD version and bright CS's might spot its a different bar code, but the description is exactly the same and you as a customer cant be expected to read bar codeeez ;-)

..... and then of course there is the one I picked up with the cardboard outer bar code of the 2 CD package which scans at 19.29 but inside is the single CD pack which is how I eventually found out whats going on. I did get a refund for the overcharge but there was mass confusion as to why the bar codes dont match and why its pricing wrong which involved 4 CS's, 2 team leaders, a manager and a security guard .... so I reckon I cant go back to that store anytime soon without being remembered.

    Is this the one, *Tony*?

Tescos Minute Beef Steaks. Offer price £5.99 per kilo. Pack price £8.48 per kilo. Entire shelf wrong. Went to customer services and she said they will sort it ut as for some reason they had priced them up as being more than the usual price. Wonderful!

However, they were correct in another store which suggests that this may just have been a blip.

Altrincham today so must be national. SEL £5.99 kg yet packaged at £8.49kg. Accused of abusing the system......properly denied this as would have been abuse if I'd filled my trolley. Only 4 packs and £17. Cheek of it!

I never use my clubcard when I'm on a Tesco 'overcharge mission'. LOL! I also always pay by cash. Never been asked for my details so far (but I'm not far into my Tesco freebie career, I suppose!).
