BT charging incorrect for 0844 200 numbers

'connection charge'. Such a backward term in today's entirely digital networks.

It's actually a 'screw the customer' tax.

I think VM now or will be charging 4p/min

That charge was for 2 calls - which now makes sense. 9.5p connection for each and 0.5p metered per call. Thanks for the help trying to understand this
