Dashboard Warning Lights- 2002 Clio

Can anybody help?? The light underneath the petrol warning light came on this morning and hasnt gone off yet. The only way i can describe it is a rectangle with a "pulse rate" going through it with a coil underneath that

Is it a petrol, 1.2 16v.?
Usually a sign of the coil pack, is the car running ok.
Are you with the AA / RAC.
You can call them out, and ask them too look at it. Get them to plug into the ECU (lift the ashtray out - plug in there) and read the faults from the ECU.
I had a Clio 182, the Cat light would come on, and would take 3-4 cold starts before it would reset the light.

Thanks a lot, it did take 2 attempts to start this morning. And yes, its a 1.2 16v. Not with RAC but dad is a mechanic, just wanted to make sure im ok driving it with that light on and doing anymore damage!!0
