Can you not tell us which make these 2700mAh are?

If you searched the forums for our posts of the topic you'd be able to read in detail...

It's more to do with the charger than the batteries, read the delta-V discussions on various threads.

Ansmann batteries and chargers from Tantronics: http://www.tantronics.co.uk/acatalog/
I've found to be incredibly long lasting, I use them in professional flash guns.

Perhaps a standard Li size should be developed so that different products dont need their own specific Li-ion batteries.

And deprive manufacturers of the opportunity to sell us over-priced device-specific batteries?

What kind of a monster are you?

Cheaper is never best in my opinion. And the charger is key.

I've tried most manufacturers, and most pros agree the Ansmann are the best.

When you have a client waiting, you don't want to hang about changing batteries and missing a moment, I shot 400 high-power flash gun shots with a set a few months ago without recharge, astonishing.

You get what you pay for.
