    We got scouts friend http://www.leapfrog.com/en_gb/families/scout_/my_pals/my_pal_violet.html
    Its great isn't it?

    Gorgeous pic Beenie.

Hugs to the lots and lots of poorly babies. We're ok here apart from very runny noses.

Have fun not trying to not conceive SS ;).

MIL went to the next sale yesterday . My faries now have a pair of boys brown furry pram boots going spare - i'll go and check what size they are.

I've got a few bits from M&S sale including a nice coat for V next winter.

I'm looking everywhere for a smart dress. During OH's first week of training in Jan, I have to go to a formal ceremony where we have official pics and he swears his allegiance (sp?), followed by a less formal buffet. Help - I don't do formal/smart! :o

  • Hello one all!

Hope everyone had a wonderful time. My dining room is stuffed full and I really don't know where all the toys are going to go. Everyone promised they would only buy gift vouchers but they are all liars! ;):D

Bah humbug for not sending cards! ;):p. Random - where I used to work everyone would buy the birthday girl/boy a £1 gift voucher (that came with a free card) from Boots/M&S/etc so they could buy something themselves instead of the £1 normally spent on a card. We were very MSE back in the day but didn't even know it!

I am finally going to have a big glass of Baileys tonight! :T. I haven't had anything to drink at all over the festivities as we have been visiting constantly and out very early.

Today was Jamie's 1st Birthday Party and we all had a wonderful time. How on earth did a year pass by so quickly?! My baby will be one tomorrow and everyone wants to know when I'm having another!:rotfl:

    xx

Thanks all :D, she's lovely and has really settled down and although she can be vocal she is very content and only woke up every 3 hours last night. I can't believe this time last week i was still pregnant, i miss it so much already!

Tia - it's brown but i have a sneaky suspicion it will go quite blonde or stay light brown.

Minor rant - i hate hate hate the people i used to work with. I'm friends with loads of them on facebook and as me and the ex worked together for years, some of them were mutual friends. These are the people who love to gossip about our split etc, but not one of them has said anything on there about Amber, but i KNOW they'll be breaking their necks to gossip about it purely cos they know ex has left us. Grrrr

    Oh while i'm in a ranting mood (aren't i always?:p:rotfl:)

I was feeding baby tonight and my sis came round with KFC. There was a knock on the door and my sis answered, to some moronic looking chav, asking if "thingy" was in.

Sister said, err who's thingy?? So chav says the girl who lives here. Sister says she's feeding the baby do you want a message passing on? So chav says: X (girl next door, this is her mate) says she's not being funny but can you stop banging all the time??

Sister said, what?! You can tell X she's taking the p!ss, all we ever hear is their telly or music blaring and there's nothing in here to bang we are in the living room??

Cue sheepish chav scurrying away back to her mates next door.

OMG i am fuming :mad: I have had so much hassle with the noisy neighbours, and it makes me more conscious about being noisy myself. There was nothing noisy going on and certainly no banging, how flipping dare they?!? And why get your chav mate to come and ask?? Grrrrrrr!!!

Just to add, i am quite happy now that they've landed themselves in it, as the only banging going on comes from my other neighbours - their relatives. So i'm gonna ring the council again on Tues with this new development. "Noise from left is so bad that right are complaining to me"
    Clever ey? :p
  • 3- At my hubby's attestation I wore a suit as that was what I wore for work at the time but a skirt and top would be fine, or a jazzy cardi! It wasn't that formal. At our one they only took photos of the probationers, not the family so you might escape that. 'TWas a good buffet though!

Grumpy baby here today. He was only really quiet when we took him out in the sling. He's in bed now though so has hopefully worn himself out.

Big hugs to poorly babies- we seem to have tons at the moment.

Beenie- Amber is gorgeous. She doesn't look jaundiced to me. How's the feeding going now?

Aless- have you made it over yet? Finn is gorgeous.
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
