sounds both frugal and healthy to me sami :) and yummy! shall I push it a teeny bit and say that the CR toast might be more mega frugal if it was home made?! I think ours is 2p a slice. How much is the shop one?

Have you got a breadmaker? I actually find it a bit easier by hand, but I think Ed is a cuddlier feedier baby than Ferg, so I have hands free for breadmaking more than I suspect you do...? :)
oh I have no doubt HM loaf would make it properly frugal, the loaf isn't on asda website  but the warby's orange fruit loaf is £1.07 so probably the same.
I'm just [STRIKE]too lazy and disorganised [/STRIKE]not committed enough to be making my own bread :o but I wanted to share in case you fancied a tasty treat and hadn't heard/thought of it :)

oh and weezlie, as Mr Weezl likes a sweet treat maybe he'd like it or what about a dish that MIL treats herself to when we go skiing; I can't remember what it's called but it is just french toast served chopped into squares served with plums poached in booze - this cost about £10 in switzerland  was about £8 in austria

oooh excitement here: I got my HiPG grant today :)

Also I had to fill in an Occupational health questionaire t'other day, and the OH dept don't know I'm pregnant but other than that the form was very detailed.

Anyhow they've sent me a healthy eating guidance pack :rotfl:.

I'm very inclined to write snottily and say, the reason you think I'm 2 stone heavier than I should be is that I am 31 weeks pregnant, but your form did not take account of this!

    Cheeky company!

    Ah sami the understatement.

He can eat can my OH.

Yesterday he had a true portion size of savoury rice (well a whole packet) with Kidney beans and olives stirred through.

I asked if he liked it. He said yes very much but he thought it was just his starter! :rotfl:

He is 6 foot 3 and a half though :) No wonder my ribs hurt when carrying his baby sons :o:D

morning all. Or rather it feels like tea time as i've been up since 4.45am. Yuck!

So far i've had 2 breakfasts though which has been nice. Elle - are you hearing me? Two breakfasts will soon sort you out!!!!

LO is watching ITNG and I'm catching up on here. I did have a peek at boots sale, but the things I liked were still only 1/2 price so I'm not going to bother as I'm not that keen! :D

    Hope everyone is well today.
