OOoooooooooooh, Practice Manager resigned? There's more story here when you've time to tell it
Jenny, I managed to do something I've had extreme trouble with since Molly was born is all
I don't know how much you want to spend on a swimsuit, but Accessorize have a halter one for £28 which looks very BF friendly and flattering
I can't see it on the website, am I just being thick? Obviously I want a really cheap one but still good quality! Any suggestions are welcomed as I'm struggling to find anything cheap.
Beenie, I thought about getting the snot thing but didn't bother in the end as poeple I spoke to didn't recommend them. I just tried keeping Erin more upright and also took her in the bathroom while I showered as the steam is supposed to help loosen snot.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

MOTM, having not posted much on here I don't really know you but hope your daughter gets well soon. I'm still getting used to the idea of having dads on a chat thread - there were none on the pregnancy thread so don't go leaving! Same to the other dads who post on here.
Nice to meet you Jenny. I know it must feel strange having a male around, especially a temperamental latin passioned one. Not sure that's the right term  I mean I stand up for myselfI just don't feel comfortable, a bit like you feeling a bit strange.
Daughter has nasty virus. We had worried with all that has been going on with Swine Flu, that it may be that, but they don't think so. Just a nasty virus. I was very worried, and I still am, but she's looking a bit brighter over the last 24 hours. GP's have earnt their callouts this last week though.OOoooooooooooh, Practice Manager resigned? Not alot to tell. Practice Manager admitted what she had done and saw no harm in it, refused to apologise as she felt she had nothing to apologise for and resigned because she felt victimised herself. I didn't realise the extent of the names until after. Welshie, Sheepy, Valley Girl and so on. I went as support on Friday and the woman really was a horrible woman who just scowled at me and at the end had the cheek to ask me what I saw in Lucy. So I said I liked her because she's everything that she wasn'tShe dislikes me even more now. Lucy was delivered some flowers this morning with an apology from the GP's.

She's going to use the extra time she now has on making jewellery and the like, but also she's hoping to do a couple of mornings and a local playgroup voluntarily like my 16yo did, to get some experience. Nothing solid on that yet, but the lady who runs it was very nice with 16yo when she was getting experience.0 -
Glam, if Amber doesn't have her full (6oz min) 5 bottles she will still wake about 11pm, but he can go 12 hours, it's just a case of bringing the dream feed back 30mins or so every few nights till it's before bedtime, thats what I did with the boys to drop the 11pm feed.
SS, you can't neg buyers, only positive, which is sooooo pants!
Jillie, aye, I'll wait till it arrives, cos a wee piccy of a box don't mean she actually shipped it after all....0 -

You can't leave it at that!!! Gonna generalise about men again here but a woman would never leave us hanging like that, come on MOTM spill!
ETA cross posted, i see you saw the error of your ways and gave us the goss, what a horrid person, do you live somewhere big enough that Lucy won't have to see her again?MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

I'm back from an emergency shopping mission for hair dye.ManOnTheMoon wrote: »Still got choccies left over then?
Maybe a couple of selection boxes and a tin of quality street. :whistle:OH pulls my greys out as they are usually at the back where I cant get them!
Oh no - I hadn't thought of the back. And i'm not asking OH, cos then he'll know i'm really old.
need help - hopefully getting a new phone do I go for
Samsung Jet
Sony Ericisson Tocco
Nokia E71 - don't mind a QWERTY style
I have no idea about the other two, but MIL got the Tocco and sent it back after two weeks. But she is very fussy!
MFD I love the Antilop too, but does it not annoy you that it doesn't fold? That's my only complaint, but I do live in the smallest house in the world.
Also, did you fit reins to yours?, or is Benjamin so well behaved he doesn't stand in it and sit on the tray facing away from you?
SS I missed the TMI thread too. I'm so nosy!
Beenie I've never felt the need for a boogy-sucker thingy. A good poke with a fat safety cotton bud does the trick.
Mooki We've got the cutest little toddler girl down the road, with the biggest afro hair! I think it looks beautiful but it drives her mum insane.
And another strange/funny conversation I had with my 9 year old this morning to lighten the mood;
She heard a story on the radio news about someone about to become the oldest mum at 59
L - Are you to old to have babies now Mum?
Me - No, you cheeky moo. Why do you want another baby sister?
L - I didn't even want a baby sister, I wanted a baby brother.
Me - Oh well, you can't pick what type you get. You get what you're given.
L - Thats not fair. Couldn't R (OH) have picked a blue seed to put in your belly button when you were asleep instead of a pink one? It's all his fault.

DSS and neice both have the Tocco Lite and I hate it!! But then I don't like change and would go back to an old style nokia if I could

I had to find it a 'place' in the corner of the kitchen where the recycling bin was to keep it out of the way when it isn't at the table. I wish it tucked under the table!!
I don't know about well behaved, he hasn't worked out how to stand up yet!! He likes to turn around and suck the back of the seat, leaving bits of whatever he is eating all over the seat so when I turn him back it all gets in his hair
I don't even fasten him in  except when he decides to chew on the straps and cover them in food!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
