Tara, neither do I now. I bought it BIN (after she countered my offer), I paid then she refunded and sent me an invoice with the item number etc on it. So on ebay it is listed as refunded, but on paypal it has been paid. So now I just think it's really dodgy especially since its been so long as she has claimed the courier couldn't get to her house but feedback has been left for a carseat bought afterawards, which I'm assuming she sent by courier, or if not, it still means she can get to a PO. I'm getting angrier sitting here now. I can still open a paypal dispute, I checked.
  • I would email her first and let her explain before you open a dispute, but tell her you know a carseat has been sent and that you are not happy.

will give the meat in the slow cooker a try. anyone done boiled bacon/gammon that way??? as LO liked boiled bacon that my SIL did over christmas.
I do gammon in the SC. I usually put a little bit of water in the bottom and either do ~8 hours on low or ~3 hours on high for a 1kg joint. (And then you can make soup with the stock.)

I want to try joints and whole chicken as well as stews and bolangase, chilli etc :D is the 6L ideal for using the BIG packs of mince (800g i think) my casserole dish for the oven can only handle the 400g packs
I'd recommend a 6L one then. I have a 3.5L and a 6.5L and when I just had the little one I sometimes had to wrestle chickens/ducks into it because of the size of it. For mince it depends on how much else you put in with it - I made bolognaise the toher day in my big one with 250g mince and 250g liver and it was really full because of everything else.

Wish mine were all like Ben. We went to my bro's who offered cake, biscuits, then a choc bar, no no no! 'Have you got any fruit?'
Sounds like Alice. She actually cried until we gave her a satsuma when we tried to give her birthday cake on her second birthday.

Who has done anything about cot-beds/toddler beds yet? When did you do it? How did it go? Where did you get your new beds from? :)
Not 100% sure we need to yet, but sooner rather than later I think at least to move away from our current permanent-travel-cot situation to something Elijah can't tip over... and maybe taking advantage of the tail-end of the sales would be worthwhile, dunno!
We put Alice onto a single mattress on the floor initially (so she wouldn't have far to fall out). She than had a bad sleeping phase so OH was sleeping in her room on that mattress and we put her on the cot mattress. After that she always chose the cot mattress so we concluded she preferred something smaller so we made a little bed to fit the mattress. (Well OH did the making - I just helped with the designing.)
ooooooo i was gonna ask you all something but now forgot ..... ermmmm ......... nope its gone .... damn memory of a fish ... ooo remembered it now .. do any of you have say 2 different accounts ei one for bills one for spending money? and if so does it work alright? x
We have a main account where all the money goes in and most of the money is spent from. It's at the same bank as OH's business account to make transfers from that more easy. We then each have a personal account and get a certain amount a month for each of us to spend on whatever we want. We have a separate account for giving because we give a certain percentage of our income to charity and with our income being very variable it is the only practical way to keep track. We also have a "child" account where all CTC, CB etc. goes and that pays for any child related costs.

The worst thing is like when we're rushing out and I say "are you going to come and put your coat on?" She says "no" and I'm left stood with the coat looking like a numpty :o If I just say "come and put your coat on now" she just does it. I call her contrary Mary, but she gets cross and says "Charlotte doesn't like contrary Mary" :rotfl:
I have that trouble - I say, "Can you put your coat on." and so she says, "No." I then have to explain that I was actually telling her to do it - not really asking whether she would.

Think it was about £15 in Tescos vouchers for an air ticket to Exeter. SM, it's 4hrs to Exeter by train.
